Protect Immigrant Communities
The Immigration Frontlines Fund is a large-scale, rapid response grantmaking fund to support immigrants and their allies who are organizing, mobilizing, and mounting every possible form of defense to keep immigrant communities safe. As immigrant communities fight back to protect themselves and each other, FFF’s Immigration Frontlines Fund will be there to drive resources to the communities that need it most
What is the Immigration Frontlines Fund?
FFF’s Immigration Frontlines Fund is a national, large-scale, rapid response fund aimed at defending and protecting immigrant communities while building toward a more welcoming, inclusive future for all. To counter the resurgence of anti-immigrant politics and hate, the Immigration Frontlines Fund will marshal and move millions of new dollars in order to scale up a robust network of rapid response hubs across the country, swiftly deploy vital resources around mass mobilization opportunities, and defend immigrant leaders and nonprofit organizations.
Meeting the Moment
For more than twenty years, Four Freedoms Fund has provided catalytic, responsive funding for immigrant-led organizations to address to crises facing their communities and to transform these crisis moments into power-building opportunities. Based on our 20-year track record, we know what works: organizing and advocacy at the state and local level for policies that effectively blunt mass deportations, such as sanctuary policies; mobilizing a groundswell of opposition and coordinated mass actions, like those against family separations and the Muslim travel ban; and building grassroots power to win protections for immigrant communities, including TPS. Working in both hostile and welcoming states across the country, FFF grantee partners have demonstrated that an organized community is a safe community.
With the ever-changing immigration landscape, FFF’s Immigration Frontlines Fund provides a vehicle for funders to quickly mobilize and channel resources to immigrant rights organizations and allies in 38 states in moments of opportunity and crisis
FFF’s Immigration Frontlines Fund was recently highlighted as a “bright spot” for immigrant communities.
Where We Fund
FFF’s network of grantee partners includes over 170 immigrant-led groups organizing and advocating in 38 states and communities across the country. With a 20-year track record of building up the immigrant rights infrastructure, deep relationships with groups on the ground, and highly experienced program team, FFF is uniquely positioned to mobilize and deploy rapid response to communities who need it most. Across all of our grantmaking, FFF prioritizes support for organizations led by immigrant, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ leaders.
