Tia Ellis serves as the Four Freedoms Fund Program Coordinator. Tia has a deep passion for social change, which influenced her to pursue and obtain her B.S. in Public & International Affairs at Baruch College in 2018. She has since built a background in operations and project management gained through work at nonprofits such as New York Housing Conference, Children’s Health Fund, Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School, and Children of Bellevue. She has extensive event planning experience, along with campaign management, social media, team building, and data handling skills. She has often faced the assignment of overhauling inadequate program management systems, gaining a reputation as the “go-to” person in overcoming logistical challenges.
During her free time, Tia lends operational support to Together We Can Solve Hunger, a program dedicated to promoting food security to those in her family’s native country of Belize. She lives in the Bronx, New York with her husband and daughter.
